2nd June 2023 - Summit Success For The Whole Team

Robin has just called in to say the whole team reached the summit of Mount Toubkal this morning. They are now on their way down to Aroumd, where they will stay for the night. Tomorrow they will head back to Marrakesh. Well done to all the team.

1st June 2023 - preparing for Summit night

The team are doing well and everyone has arrived at the hut, it has been pretty cold even on the way up to the hut. The team will get all their layers on ready for their summit push tonight.

29th May 2023 - The Trek Begins

Everything is going well so far. We spent the morning visiting the markets in Marrakech. Mohammed changed the itinerary to avoid walking on a recently tarmacked road and we are spending the night in Imlil this evening. We will rejoin the original route tomorrow by hiking over the Tizi n'Mzic. Everyone is looking forward to it.

Weather was fine this morning but very wet tonight. It's expected to improve so fingers crossed.

Silverdale scouts - Mount Toubkal ascent

The group will arrive in Marrakech on the afternoon of the 28th of May.
