Adventure Peaks is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. The following contains information regarding privacy issues on the Adventure Peaks Website as they relate to information gathering, posting or third-party participation.
E-mail Mailout List
Adventure Peaks maintains an email list which you can subscribe to by: emailing your request to email@example.com, ticking the checkbox when you fill out the Contact Us form on the website, submitting your email address using the e-newsletter widget in the website sidebar, ticking the checkbox on the checkout page of our website or requesting to join by telephone. Email addresses are held on our internal database and on a separate email list which we use to send out e-news. The email list for e-news is held on a GDPR compliant mailing service server.
Postal Mailout List
The postal mailout list is used to send out our brochure and marketing material to those who have attended one of our Expeditions, Treks or Courses, or requested to join our postal mailing list. Details are held on our secure server that is UK-based.
At all times we provide a clear opt out option.
We have taken all reasonable steps and have in place appropriate security measures to protect your information.
Online Retail Shop Customers
In order to process orders and send out newsletters, we will request your personal details, such as name, address and telephone number. We do not collect debit or credit card information. For all online purchases, payment information is entered through a secure payment gateway provided by our online banking partners, and we do not have access to the data.
If a telephone order is placed, your debit or credit card information will be inputted directly into our ‘PDQ machine’ without retaining card information.

Whenever you are asked to fill in a form at the checkout stage on the website there will be a tick box for subscribing to our newsletter. By default this is unchecked. If you wish to subscribe to the newsletter then you will need to tick the box.
If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at anytime by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org
