Romania’s Fagaras Mountains trek

Anna, one of our Logistics Managers is just back from exploring the fascinating country of Romania in light of our Romania’s Fagaras Mountains trek, new to our 2014 brochure. Within easy reach of the UK, Romania gives you a destination a bit different from the norm and is a country of contrasts.

From the beautiful craggy limestone ridge of the Fagaras mountains also known as the Transylvanian Alps with stunning views, forests and lakes; to the Medieval charm of Brasov’s gothic, baroque and renaissance architecture, it’s an intriguing place. There is time in our itinerary to also visit the bustling metropolis of Bucharest with its eclectic mix of grand architecture and tree lined boulevards, and to explore the legendary Bran Castle with its link to Bram Stoker’s ‘Dracula’.
