The team have been visiting the coast of St Lucia.  They have been on a wildlife walk, looking for hippos but the hippos were hiding.  Luckily lots of other wildlife were not so shy including the zebra and the crocodiles!

8th April

The group are camped at the top of the Amphitheatre, one of the most impressive cliff faces they have ever seen.  The Amphitheatre is over 5 kilometers in length and has cliffs of around 850 metres along its entire length.

They have had a fantastic trek up to Mont-Aux-Sources and tomorrow they will head back down the gullies.

5th April

The group are at White Mountain, they are all well and enjoying themselves. Today they hiked at Giant’s Castle which provided magnificent views and visited the caves to see the rock art or Bushman’s paintings. They’ve been swimming in the river, seen lots of wildlife and birds, including Zebra and Cranes.

3th April

The group say hello from the highest lodge in Africa! They’ve driven up the dramatic Sani Pass and over the border into Lesotho. The mist is really thick and it’s taken them a long time to get up the pass (in 2 shifts with 2 4x4s), and so they’re going to get an early night, camping down by the river tonight at about 2900m. Tomorrow they’ll be going for a hike before a scenic drive through the foothills of Lesotho to their next camp at White Mountain.

2nd April

The team and all their bags have arrived!  They are now off to their first Camp.
