3rd Sept – SUMMIT SUCCESS!  All of the team, excepting Andy Taylor who turned back at about 6000m, have successfully summitted Stok Kangri.

5th Sept – The group are now safely back in Leh having had a great send off from the local support team at 5000m involving cake and beer!  Plans to visit the Taj Mahal tomorrow.  Everyone reported to be in good spirits.

3rd Sept – SUMMIT SUCCESS!  All of the team, excepting Andy Taylor who turned back at about 6000m, have successfully summitted Stok Kangri.  Summit weather was good with awesome views of the Karakorum. The group have returned to base camp and all are well.  The plan is to return to Leh in the next couple of days.

1st Sept – Everyone has now been to 5300m.  It has been an amazing trek so far with stunning views and fabulous food.  The group have reached Stok Kangri Base Camp and will leave for Advance Base Camp tomorrow.  Planned summit day Monday 3 September.

31st Aug – News today that the team are all well and enjoying a rest day before further ascent.

21 Aug – The team have now arrived safely in Leh with everyone in good spirits.  The hotel boasts views of Stok Kangri and our local staff, Daniella and Tashi have been very supportive.   The group have done an acclimatisation walk today to 5400m on one of the world’s highest roads before starting their trek tomorrow.  Communication from this point will be more difficult but we will post any news we receive.

25th July – The team will depart on the 18th August
