24th October: Stu has just called in with an update. He was pleased to report Alex and Phurba successfully summited Mera Peak early this morning enjoying amazing scenery and views all the way to Everest and Kangchenjunga.
8th November: Francis rang today to say the group are safe and well at Chukung (4730m). Today was a long day, spent crossing the Amphulapcha Pass. The weather was good, very cold but sunny with beautiful views of the clouds across Lhotse.
2nd November: Summit Success. All of the team made it to the summit which gave them huge confidence and enjoyment. Conditions were cold dark and windy but great training for the coming Baruntse Summit day.
