Congratulations again to Paul, Sam, Irene, Jorge, Lakpha, Dawa and Purba who reached the summit of Himlung Himal. The full team are now trekking out and are at Koto.
10th November – Himlung Himal Summit Success.
Sudden we were there… no more uphill! Hugs and muffled congratulations all round and attempts at photography and even video. Views across to the Annapurnas, Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchhre – absolutely crystal clear!
30th October: Summit Success! Magical day in Nepal with 9 members inc 4 sherpas on top of Himlung Himal at 7126m inc as far as we understand it Paul 2nd ever Brit and 1st Lancastrian, Karin is 1st Danish and Carrie 1st British women. 10 hrs ascent along a corniced ridge and steep snow slopes.
