19th Sep – St John and Nicholas decided to opt for a more technical peak than Stok Kangri so climbed the Northern shoulder of Kangyatse (6200m). The weather was not particularly kind to them for their summit bid so they came back one day early and went up to Khardong La. They are both doing fine and enjoying their expedition.

8th Aug – The agent has emailed today to say that Paul and local guide Algo Namgyl reached the summit of Stok Kangri at 9:30am local time. The summit was misty but that didn’t deter Paul’s emotional celebrations. He will arrive back in Leh tomorrow where he will be reunited with David.

25th August – SUCCESS – Rich emailed in today to say that all the team reached the summit of Stok Kangri yesterday morning. It took just under 10 hours to get up and down from base camp despite some very bad weather at times. The team were fortunate to get some break in the cloud at the top and got some stunning views. They have now returned to Leh for some R&R and will be flying back to Delhi on the 27th.
