3rd May Summit Success – All of the remaining team climbed Snowdon at 3:15 today. This meant we successfully climbed the national 3 peaks within 24 hours of setting off to climb Ben Nevis and then Scafell Pike.

After getting back to the mini bus the team have gone their separate ways back home feeling exhausted but very proud of themselves. A huge congratulations to them especially from Mike, David and Neil.

3rd May: We’re now on our way to Snowdon after 2 successful summits and completed in good time so far!

Unfortunately Sarah and John decided to drop out before getting to the top of Ben Nevis and then enjoyed a fantastic stay at a local B&B farmhouse last night deciding to complete the walk in their own time today…

The rest of the team have battled on through tiredness and nigh time walking to complete the first two summits with little sleep so far. The weather has been ideal with almost no wind and great team moral helping them along.

We should arrive around 1pm to start Snowdon, our final summit. Wish us luck!

2nd May: We are now waiting at Fort William for our clients to arrive. Its been a good start to the day with a quick drive up through Scotland enjoying stunning views from Rannoch Moor. Weather is cloudy and a little chilly at the moment. We’ll try to do another update on our Ben Nevis Ascent depending on Mikes driving down the narrow lanes.

29th April: The team will be meeting Adventure Peaks staff to attempt to ascend the highest summits in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike) and Wales (Snowdon) within 24 hours.

We will pick up clients at Fort William station before our briefing and preparing for the Ben Nevis ascent. Hopefully all going well we will be back in the van and heading to Scafell Pike around 10pm. Scafell will be started at 4 am so a dark and chilly climb up taking around 4 hours but we will be gifted (fingers crossed) with a beautiful sunrise on the way back down. Our final leg will start up Snowdon around 1pm and finish at 5pm.

Neil our Web Manager will be travelling with the group and updating this page (depending on 3G signal) as we go along  so wish us all luck.
