Embark on this 10-day adventure. Climb Jordan’s highest mountain Jabel Umm Adami 1854m, enter Petra via the backdoor and sleep in a Bedouin camp under the stars.
Scramble the summit of the Jebel Burdah Rock Bridge and Float in the Dead Sea. The trek includes hiking through rolling valleys, dramatic canyons, and rugged desert scenery, exploring Bedouin culture and the breathtaking beauty of the Wadi Rum desert. Marvel at Petra’s iconic rock-cut architecture, exploring its narrow Siqs, majestic tombs, and intricate facades carved into rose-red cliffs—a highlight that makes this trek unforgettable. The trek is one of the world’s best hikes and forms part of the great Jordain Trail.

Day 1 | Day 1: International flights - Arrive in Amman. Transfer to Madaba, known as the ‘City of Mosaics,’ is a treasure trove of history and culture. Stroll through its charming streets to discover ancient churches adorned with intricate mosaics, local artisan shops, and vibrant markets. Highlights include the famous 6th-century Mosaic Map of the Holy Land and panoramic views from nearby Mount Nebo. Expect a warm, welcoming atmosphere where history, art, and everyday Jordanian life come together. (C, B, L, D) |
Day 2 | From Madaba to the Heart of Nature. Start your day with breakfast before embarking on your tour, with pick-up from your hotel in the morning. Our first stop is the enchanting Wadi Ibn Hamad, a subtropical canyon adorned with towering cliffs, hot and cold springs. After our canyon adventure we will continue to Dana Nature Reserve for check in and overnight. (C, B, L, D) 5 kms |
Day 3 | Dana Valley To Wadi Malaga |
Day 4 | Wadi Malaga to Ras Al Fied, Explore the Untamed Beauty! Today we continue along the Jordan Trail We will begin with hiking through the desert plateau of Wadi Malaga. Then we will cut across with a steep ascent across boulders and rocks as we reach the foot of a steep track going high into the mountains. This pass is known in Jordan as the Ras Naqb. The trail will head up a well trotted Bedouin migration path, as you look back and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Wadi Araba below. Continue our ascent to our desert camp site under the stars in Ras Al Fied. (C, B, L, D). 14 kms |
Day 5 | Ras Al Fied to Little Petra Today we continue the Jordan Trail from Ras Al Fied to Little Petra, ascending sandstone mountains that gradually give way to lush vegetation and traces of the Nabateans carved into the cliffs. Along the way, encounter the Bedoul, a Bedouin community preserving ancient traditions in the modern world. End with a traditional dinner prepared by locals before settling into camp at Little Petra. Day 6 | Back Door Hike into Petra and onwards to Wadi Rum, Off the Beaten Path, begin your journey with a scenic hike from camp through the rolling hills of Little Petra, following the ancient back route once used by traders into Petra. After about an hour, arrive at the magnificent Monastery, one of Petra’s most impressive monuments. From there, continue exploring the main site, passing through its iconic gate and discovering the rich history and timeless beauty of this ancient wonder. (C, B, L, D) Afterward, drive to Wadi Rum and experience a magical night of wild camping under the desert stars. 18 kms |
Day 7 | Siq el Barrah Desert Adventure, Stunning Canyon Trails. Hike through the Siq Barrah area of Wadi Rum, a dramatic canyon carved into sandstone cliffs. Wander along narrow passages and open valleys, surrounded by towering rock formations and desert landscapes. This trail offers a mix of adventure and breathtaking scenery, showcasing the rugged beauty and timeless charm of Wadi Rum. (C, B, L, D) |
Day 8 | Summits and Scrambles. Today we’ll explore the wonders of Wadi Rum. We’ll start early with a 4x4 ride to the base of Jordan’s highest mountain, Jebel Umm Adami 1854m for an unforgettable hike to its summit. From the top enjoy panoramic views of Wadi Rum and its red sandstone cliffs and the distant Saudi desert. 3-4 hrs Afterwards, we’ll visit Jebel Burdah Rock Bridge and scramble to its summit for stunning views. In some areas the climb is challenging and not suitable for those with a fear of heights in which case it can be viewed from below. 3-4 hrs The day concludes with one final night camping under the stars, immersing ourselves in the desert’s magic. Day 9 | The Journey’s Quiet End. After exploring the desert landscapes of Wadi Rum, enjoy a scenic drive to Aqaba, Jordan’s vibrant coastal city on the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth. Arrive ready to relax and float or take part in water sports, snorkelling in the crystal-clear waters. (H, B) |
