Day 1 | Fly to Skopje (SKP) Welcome to North Macedonia! After arrival, we transfer to Skopje for dinner and overnight in a hotel. |
Day 2 | Luboten Peak & Overnight in Ljuboten Hut. After breakfast, we drive 2–2.5 hours to Staro Selo and settle into the historic Ljuboten Hut. From here, we climb Luboten Peak (2498 m) — a proud border summit long considered the mountain’s highest. The renovated mountain hut offers old-world charm and legendary hospitality. |
Day 3 | Luboten Hut → Brezovica via Livadica Lake (Kosovo). A beautiful trail day: forest paths, rocky technical sections, and the dramatic cliffs of Luboten. We stop for lunch and—if brave—a swim at Livadica Lake, then descend towards Brezovica in Kosovo. 14.5km with 12000m ascent and 1080m descent |
Day 4 | Kobilica Pass & Descent to Vejce (MK). From Upper Ljubinje village, we climb through deep beech forests and blueberry fields to the Kobilica Pass. Optional ascent of Kobilica Peak adds 2 hours. |
Day 5 | Vejce → Bozovce → Popova Shapka (Hotel Scardus). |
Day 6 | Two Hiking Options: Jelak Black Peak or Tito’s Peak. |
Day 7 | Peak Plat & Wild Camping in Leshnica. We set off directly from the hotel, following a gentle dirt road beneath Ceripashina Peak. Our goal is Peak Plat, offering one of the best 360° panoramas on the entire range. After descending into Upper Leshnica, we reach our magical wild camp: deep pine forest, three converging rivers, and a star-drenched night sky. |
Day 8 | Waterfalls, Pena Springs & Descent to Brod → Prizren. After breakfast in camp, we visit the Leshnica Waterfalls, then follow the pristine Pena River up-valley, circling beneath the towering “Third Rock of Leshnica.” |
Day 9 | Prizren → Airport. After breakfast, we enjoy a short city stroll before the group transfer to Pristina or Skopje Airport. |
