Explore the spectacular mountains and landscapes of southern Ethiopia. An adventurous journey combining the crowning jewel of the Gamo highlands, Mt Gughe, with the extraordinary Bale Mountains National Park.
Away from the troubled Simien Mountains and northern regions of Ethiopia, this trek takes you into some of the country's most remote and fascinating landscapes, combining high-mountain trekking, spectacular scenery and encounters with local communities and wildlife.
With fascinating cultures and some of Ethiopia's most remarkable wildlife, this is an opportunity to explore a less-visited part of the country.
From the terraced slopes of the Gamo Highlands and the summit of Mount Gughe to the volcanic landscapes of the Sanetti Plateau and the wildlife-rich Harenna Forest, Southern Ethiopia offers an extraordinary variety of experiences in one adventure.
