Alpine Summer Courses

This course of alpine training and 4000m Peaks is set in a magnificent and unspoilt area of Kyrgyzstan far away from the crowded European Alps. The beautiful Ak-Sai glacier lies in the Ala Archa National Park, a protected alpine area in the Tien Shan Mountains of Kyrgyzstan. You will acclimatise whilst undergoing training in: ice axe and crampons, glacial travel, crevasse rescue, roping up and movement over glaciated alpine terrain, rock climbing and belaying.

The Gran Paradiso (4061m) Alpine Introduction Course provides a great induction to Alpine Mountaineering and your first 4000m peak.

This Chamonix Alpine Training Course is a good option for the fit mountain walker/scrambler who wants to develop the skills to travel beyond the British mountains.

The Bernese Oberland 4000m Peaks Course provides a magnificent week of Alpine mountaineering in the shadow of the Eiger and its great North Face.

The Mittellegi Ridge is a fantastic steep knife edged ridge offering excellent climbing with little or no objective danger.
