9th February 2024

The team have been up to Colera for an acclimatisation walk.

5th February 2024 - Carry to Camp 1

yesterday the team carried to a load to Camp 1. And today is a rest day at base camp. The team will then begin to move up the mountain.

3rd February 2024 - Acclimatising on Cerro Bonete

After an excellent day trekking in to base camp the team have now summited on Cerro Bonete at 5052m. This is to prepare them for moving higher on the mountain, acclimatisation is going well.

1st February 2024 - Acclimatisation hike

Yesterday the team went on an acclimatisation hike to the South Face

31st January 2024 - change of route

Due to glacier instability the Vacas Valley route has been closed by the national park. The team have therefore began their journey on the Horcones Valley side of the mountain.

28th January 2024 - Arrival in Mendoza

The Team have arrived in Mendoza and today they travel to Puente de Inca.
